এ বছর মে মাসে মুক্তি পাওয়ার কথা ছিল এই ছবি, কিন্তু লকডাউন ঘোষনা হওয়ায় অনির্দিষ্টকালের জন্য পিছিয়ে য়ায় । দীর্ঘ প্রতিক্ষার পর ছবিটি মুক্তি পাবে 24 জুলাই ডিজনি প্লাস হটস্টারে । শুধু তাই নয় যাঁদের ডিজনি প্লাস হটস্টারে সাবস্ক্রিপশন নেই তাঁরাও ছবিটি দেখতে পাবেন ।

মুকেশ ছাবরা পরিচালিত এই ছবিতে সুশান্ত ছাড়াও মুখ্য চরিত্রে অভিনয় করেছেন নবাগতা সঞ্জনা সঙ্ঘী, সইফ আলি খান ও স্বস্তিকা মুখোপাধ্যায়। এছাড়া এই ছবিতে সঙ্গীত পরিচালনা করেছেন বিখ্যাত সুরকার এ আর রহমান ।

টেলিভিশন ধারাবাহিক পবিত্র রিস্তা দিয়ে অভিনয় জীবন শুরু সুশান্ত সিং রাজপুতের । এরপর 2013 সালে কাই পো চে ছবির মাধ্যমে তাঁকে বলিউডে স্বাগত জানায় । এছাড়া আরো অনেক ছবিতে অভিনয় করেছেন যেমন- দিল বেচারা, ছিঁচোড়ে, পিকে, MS Dhoni The Untold Story etc.

2012 সালে প্রকাশিত হওয়া জন গ্রিনের বেস্টসেলার উপন্যাস “দ্যা ফল্ট ইন আওয়ার স্টারস” অবলম্বনে তৈরি হয়েছে “দিল বেচারা”। আর নেটফ্লিক্সে “রাইড” ছবিতে জীবদ্দশায় তাঁকে শেষবার অভিনয় করতে দেখা গিয়েছে ।

এই ছবির অনলাইন মুক্তি নিয়ে ডিজনি প্লাস হটস্টার টুইটে লেখেন “আশা, ভালোবাসা ও অগুণতি স্মৃতির গল্প আমাদের প্রিয় বন্ধু সুশান্ত সিং রাজপুতের সব কথা মনে গেঁথে থাকবে ।

The film was supposed to be released in May this year, but was postponed indefinitely due to a lockdown announcement.  After a long wait, the film will be released on July 24 at Disney Plus Hotstar.  Not only that, those who do not have a subscription to Disney Plus Hotstar will also see the film.

 Directed by Mukesh Chabra, the film also stars newcomers Sanjana Sanghi, Saif Ali Khan and Swastika Mukherjee in the lead roles.  Besides, the music has been directed by the famous composer AR Rahman.

 Sushant Singh Rajput started his acting career with the television serial Holy Rista.  Then in 2013 Kai Po Che welcomed him to Bollywood through the film.  He has also acted in many other films such as Dil Bechara, Chinchhore, PK, MS Dhoni The Untold Story etc.

 "Dil Bechara" is based on John Green's bestselling novel "The Fault in Our Stars" published in 2012.  He was last seen on Netflix in "Ride" for the last time in his life.
